Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I Datacenter Information Technology Operation Manager (ITOM) , you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. As a Microsoft Datacenter Information Technology Operations Manager (ITOM), you lead and manage a team of individual contributors as well as overseeing data center site services and logistics. This role will give you an opportunity to lead a highly effective team.

Responsibilities
- Empowering a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspects of datacenter activities
- Leading and managing a team of high-performing individual contributors and their ongoing talent development
- Managing and overseeing datacenter site services, logistics, and deployment
- Collaborating and coordinating with multiple internal business groups to ensure the successful delivery of service levels.
- Analyzing production operations and initiating corrective actions to ensure operational stability.
- Initiating and establishing quality standards for the Datacenter teams and managing those initiatives through to completion.
- Learning, living, and coaching the One Microsoft culture and values. Lead through change by bringing clarity, generating energy, and delivering success.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years experience of mission-critical service management (e.g., providing IT services, manufacturing, warehouse, retail, military, or managing physical operations in an IT and/or critical environment infrastructure).
- 2+ years of experience leading and motivating a technical workforce
- Availability to work flexible hours, non-business hours, or other scenarios required by rhythm of the business
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government clearance
Preferred/Additional Qualifications
- Enterprise-level experience in managing large-scale and complex projects/programs
- Working knowledge of audit and compliance requirements in a large global enterprise
- Problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, data analysis, and attention to detail
- Experience multi-tasking and managing multiple project initiatives
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience
Data Center Operations Management M4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,800 - $195,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $135,200 - $222,000 per year.
