Description
JOB ID# 31261A Provide psychosocial services, such as therapy, assessments, case management, and crisis intervention.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitates the Child and Family Team and assures the ongoing development of individualized service CFT, safety, and transition plans for assigned cases.
Performs intakes, initial assessments, and all required paperwork.
Leads the strengths-based, family-centered, assessments of the child and family team and assures that all involved with the case contribute to the assessment. Coordinates, schedules, and facilitates the child and family team meetings.
Assures that planned services are provided. Facilitates the self-assessment of the team.
Participates in the Quality Assurance Program. Develops and provides specific services identified in the individualized service plans.
Provides individual, family, collateral, and group psychotherapy as needed by the CFT. Crisis intervention as needed, on-call coverage as assigned.
Manages assigned Child & Family Specialists.
Collaborates with parent advocates, psychiatrists, and network providers.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have a Master of Social Work from an accredited school of social work and a current Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASCW) registration through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Must maintain current status as a licensed professional under California law.
Two years' experience working with severely emotionally disturbed children and their families.
Cleared by Department of Justice (Child Abuse Index).
Must have a valid California Driver License in good standing and personal, valid insurance.
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
