We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Director based in Eugene, Oregon. In this role, you will be at the forefront of the IT industry, leading a team and managing key technology systems and processes. The IT Director will oversee the network, system, and security operations and work closely with other managers to create strategies and policies that will enhance the IT infrastructure. Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the IT team, aligning their efforts with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Recruit, manage, and develop the IT team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and training.
  • Oversee network, system, and security operations, ensuring adherence to best practices and frameworks.
  • Develop annual program goals and performance measures, aligning them with the organization's strategic plan.
  • Assist in formulating and implementing IT policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Manage customer support and technical services models to address the organization's technical needs.
  • Analyze and improve operational, management, and business processes.
  • Assist in developing, monitoring, and managing the department's budget.
  • Support the introduction of new technologies and services to enhance the organization's capabilities.
  • Supervise and evaluate assigned staff, ensuring they are performing their duties effectively.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred or 6 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience and knowledge of PCI, HIPAA and CJIS compliance standards preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows environments, physical and virtual servers, 0365, Active Directory, Azure and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST. Practices and principles of data privacy and security issues.
  • Practices IT governance and is able to create IT strategies with department and company goals.
  • Strong people management skills including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and structure
  • Adept in project management, time management, planning, negotiation, and presentation
