Job Description

We are seeking an Accounting Technology Consultant to join our expanding product team, ensuring successful onboarding of customers to our SaaS accounting solution. This role is ideal for driven individuals with an accounting background who are eager to step into a hands-on consulting position. Our team is made up of former accountants and CPAs who use their expertise to help accounting teams across industries streamline and automate their processes. You'll work closely with a dedicated, collaborative team to deliver impactful solutions directly to customers. With a high level of ownership over customer success, your contributions will directly shape the future of FloQast. What You'll Do:

  • Lead client kick-off calls, providing an overview of the FloQast implementation process and timeline.
  • Implement tailored automation solutions using FloQast software to streamline and improve clients' financial close processes.
  • Communicate project timelines to clients, leveraging your CPA expertise to ensure alignment with best practices.
  • Build and maintain client relationships primarily through phone and email communication.
  • Manage client progress and lead internal status update meetings.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the FloQast application and its functionality.
  • Train domestic and international accounting teams via screen share on utilizing FloQast during their month-end close.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical product support and accounting-related questions during the implementation phase.
  • Collaborate with other business units within FloQast, sharing insights to enhance customer outcomes.

What You'll Bring:

  • At least 2-3 years of public accounting (or equivalent) experience required.
  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
  • Highly energetic, positive and passionate team player with strong interpersonal skills and collaborative orientation.
  • Detail oriented with strong problem-solving and decision making skills.
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative and follow-through.
  • Strong sense of ownership and urgency, organizational and time management skills, and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and consultative skills.
  • Strong work ethic and integrity.
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines and respond to rapidly changing demands.

Nice-To-Haves:

  • CPA and/or public accounting experience is a bonus but not required.
  • Strong client-facing experience preferred.

The base pay range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000. This position may be eligible for a bonus plan in addition to base pay. Compensation is not limited to base salary.
