About the Company
Akkodis is seeking a Sterilization Engineer for a contract position with our client located in Swiftwater, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for execution and documentation support for non-routine changes to equipment and processes due to requalification, small capital projects, CAPA and CI. You will also perform protocol execution and be highly knowledgeable using Kaye AVS/ RT thermal systems, biological indicators, steam quality testing apparatus, and VHP gas testing apparatus.
About the Role
Sterilization Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Will provide experience support skills in sterilization engineering, autoclave qualification, VHP qualification, dry heat depyrogenation qualification
- Support will be provided on a schedule basis. Labor is projected to be 33,000 hours in Year 1 based on standard work of requalification and forecasted site support. Supplier will provide experience support skills in sterilization engineering, autoclave qualification, VHP qualification, dry heat dehydrogenation qualification. Supplier will have 3-5 years knowledge, expertise, and training in FDA, EMA, EN285 and Annex 1 regulations for moist heat, VHP, and dry heat sterilization validation requirements.
- Perform protocol execution and be highly knowledgeable using Kaye AVS/ RT thermal systems, biological indicators, steam quality testing apparatus, and VHP gas testing apparatus. The supplier will be able to setup analyze thermal and biological data for sterilization/decontamination autoclaves, depryogenation tunnels, dry heat ovens, SIP cycles, depryogenation tunnels, and VHP/Peracetic acid isolators with limited direct supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Three to five years of relevant experience
- Provide detailed tracking and reporting related to staffing, budget, project assignments and issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Pay range and compensation package
Pay/Salary Range: $45.00/hr - $70.00/hr
