Precipart, located in Farmingdale, NY, is looking for a Customer Accounts Manager who will manage customer purchase orders through delivery process. In this position, you will manage customer accounts in terms of orders, quotations, demand planning, contracted inventory oversight, and impact on customer satisfaction measurement. The Customer Accounts Manager also provides operational oversight and mentoring to the Customer Accounts Coordinators and Specialists. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to enhancing customer satisfaction, building strong customer relationships, and enjoys offering professional expertise to support a less experienced colleague.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Oversee customer schedules and monitor our commitment dates against customer requirementsReceive customer PO's and perform a commercial contract review of quotation vs customer PO. Resolve discrepancies (if any)Process customer purchase orders, inquiries, and/or customer issues related to ordersProcess purchase orders and/or manufacturing orders for outsourced productsOversee delivery execution and logistics of customer orders and purchase/manufacturing orders to meet customer demandGather and communicate, externally and internally, information pertaining to changes to existing ordersTrack order activity and communicate any potential delivery problemsUpdate internal systems and customer portals in accordance with changesQuickly and effectively resolve customer or production issues, and provide timely communication to customers on status and resolutionPerform monthly account review – customer forecast vs backlog and manufacturing/purchase ordersUnderstand customers measurements of Precipart, i.e. on time delivery to request date, on time delivery to promise date, etc. Work to make sure Precipart is aligned with measurements, and performing at the highest standardRun customer specific reports and share data with customersProvide pricing, inventory availability and production schedule information to customersReview contractual inventory amounts required in stock per customer.
