Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst and Engineering Lead to lead technical analysis, design, engineering and documentation for our Cloud COE. With a well-established technical background in financial services, the successful candidate will be able to show a successful track-record of delivering complex IT solutions where attention to detail and good analytical capabilities are vital.

What You Will Be Responsible For

As Data Analyst and Engineering Lead you will:

  1. Develop a deep understanding of existing Cloud infrastructure, data-models and data LakeHouse architecture.
  2. Conduct detailed analysis of business requirements, data and systems involved to create/enhance the Cloud data LakeHouse and web architecture.
  3. Deliver high-quality, detailed technical documentation including system design, workflow diagrams, and technical roadmaps within set milestones.
  4. Provide input into development and QA teams in the form of design documents, data mapping documents, user stories, etc.
  5. Perform research and work closely with external teams like Cloud Platform and Office of Architecture to understand and follow enterprise wide standards.
  6. Responsible for researching and implementing advanced data analytics and AI/ML use cases using Cloud infrastructure.
  7. Lead a group of data analysts, data engineers and QA providing guidance during analysis, development and testing.
  8. Contribute to the design & testing of new functionality.
  9. Responsible for application ownership and/or working with an application owner to create and maintain topology, application infrastructure, comply with application standards, maintain applications in systems like AIW and cloud portal, as well as create and maintain design tollgates.
  10. Work closely with the delivery lead to ensure project delivery within the designated budget and timelines.
  11. Responsible for presenting analysis, design and status to senior management in technology and business groups.

What We Value

We are looking for the following skillset:

  1. Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as Technical business/system analyst and/or application lead in financial services.
  2. Relevant experience with databases, data warehouses and/or Cloud data lake.
  3. Highly self-motivated with good analytical capabilities.
  4. Willingness to learn and eagerness to collaborate as part of a larger team.
  5. Confident & clear communicator.
  6. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to any audience.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  2. Technically competent with the ability to code in SQL and/or Python.
  3. Power user of design and analysis tools Excel, Visio, Draw.io, PowerBI, etc.
  4. Familiarity working with Cloud hosting solutions. AWS and Databricks preferred.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $132,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
