**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)
**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Varied 12-hour shifts
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:**
- Recent acute care hospital experience in the past 2 years required
- 2 years of experience in intermediate/progressive care required
**License:**
- Oregon license (not required at the time of submission but must be obtained)
**Certifications:**
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
**Must-Have:**
- Willingness to float to MCU/PSU/APU
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications and licenses
**Job Description:**
- Apply the nursing process within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
- Teach patients and significant others about health conditions and care plans.
- Document patient care accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care effectively.
- Position is a temp-to-perm opportunity; interest in permanent placement is required.
- Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility.
