The position reports directly to the Chief Security Officer, who will rely on you to assume responsibility for that role when required. This job is a perfect fit for you if you are a dynamic leader who excels working cross-functionally with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

Leadership
– Develop and implement global security, safety, and loss prevention programs aligned with enterprise goals.
– Manage third-party security vendor programs and assist in vetting and hiring contractors.
– Influence support for security risk initiatives across the organization.

Compliance
– Analyze data to ensure compliance with internal security policies.
– Facilitate compliance with government requirements and directives.

Crisis Management
– Implement operational plans for emergency events and crisis response.
– Work collaboratively to establish effective contingency planning.

Human Capital
– Support executive protection programs for executives and implement safety initiatives for domestic and international travelers.
– Research and deploy state-of-the-art security systems and measures designed to protect physical safety at all locations.

Intelligence
– Monitor and advise on imminent or emerging threats to the enterprise.
– Analyze security threats and trends.

Investigations
– Lead the corporate investigations program, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on a wide range of investigative issues.
– Investigate and resolve security breaches.

Relationship Management
– Foster strong relationships with global intelligence entities, law enforcement agencies, and industry peers.
– Build trust with executive leadership through decisive action.

Risk Management
– Oversee security risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
– Develop services, findings and incident KPI’s for sites and corporate metrics.

You Have:

  • A BA or BS degree in a relevant field with continued professional development.
  • Extensive experience leading people in a large geographically diverse organization, preferably within the global manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated success leading programs in the fields of security, investigations, executive protection, and crisis management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Global supply chain security experience.
  • The ability to travel globally, sometimes on short notice.
