The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced human immunology and virology laboratory as well as in a clinical or home visit setting. The phlebotomist will support the work associated with multiple clinical research projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing phlebotomy home visits using the employee’s vehicle, delivering samples to the lab for processing in a time-dependent manner, and scheduling phlebotomy in home or in clinic visits. The successful candidate will demonstrate vigilance in patient safety, protocol compliance, data quality and have solid computer skills. Hours are Monday-Friday, 10 AM to 2 PM (flexible).Job DescriptionJob Duties:Obtain blood specimens from patients by performing venipuncture.
