Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting in a wide range of FP&A activities and is responsible for specific data driven analytics that support the organization. This position will play a central role in executing the timely delivery and presentation of the annual operating plan, the quarterly forecasts, and the 5-year strategic plan. The Financial Analyst drives to execute tasks and projects timely at a high level.

Responsibilities

1. Manage and maintain ever-changing, complex financial planning models.
2. Utilize data originating out of native accounting and operational systems to answer critical questions and provide insights through key performance indicators.
3. Conduct ad-hoc analytics that may encompass specific industries such as sports, live entertainment, hospitality, and retail as requested by leadership.
4. Prepare presentations in support of executive meetings, monthly/quarterly business reviews, and various strategic and analytical projects.
5. Improve efficiencies across the financial ecosystem with process in mind.
6. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Skills

1. Degree in finance or accounting.
2. Years of experience relevant to the role.
3. Excel modeling skills.
4. Storytelling ability in PowerPoint.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Entertainment experience preferred.
7. Detail-oriented.
8. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to pivot or multi-task.
10. Inherent curiosity to learn and ask questions.
