Overview of Property Accountant role:

• The Property Accountant will be responsible for full cycle general accounting, bank reconciliations, month-end close for multiple entities
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Handle GL analysis, fixed assets, and reconciliations
• Must feel comfortable in Excel
• Act as the primary liaison between the accounting department and association boards.

Preferred qualifications of the Property Accountant:

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Accounting
• HOA/Property Management experience
• CAM license is a MUST
• Strong Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Strong Excel
