Job Summary
As a Reservations Agent, you provide exceptional customer service and assist guests in booking their stay. Agents are passionate about hospitality and possess superior customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists guests in booking venue reservations, tours, travel, restaurants, or events. Responsibilities include guest/customer service, reservation booking, and selling additional products or services. Reservations Agents bring a positive, upbeat attitude over the phone and to the team. This position is hospitality-minded, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while taking inbound and outbound calls, describing our property and offerings, booking guests, and continuing guest support.   • Provide booking and reservation services to guests and customers
  • Work with customers over the phone, online, and in person.
  • Making reservations based on customers’ various requirements.
  • Checking the availability of accommodations or desired travel dates.
  • Helping plan travel itineraries by suggesting local tourist attractions and places of interest.
  • Responsible for connecting with our guests and helping plan the ultimate vacation or stay.
  • Answering questions about local attractions and providing insider tips for the most comfortable stay.
  • Works with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent customer service and expert knowledge of deals and savings available.
  • Processing payments and sending confirmation details to customers.
  • Selling and promoting reservation services.
  • Up-selling when appropriate by informing customers of additional services or special packages.
  • Performs as a backup to Guest Services Agents during peak times and team coverage.
Education and or Experience
A high school diploma, two to four years of related experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in sales or public relations, preferably in the hospitality or travel industry.
  • Strong computer experience required.
  • Data entry experience.
  • Have maturity in judgment.
  • Public Relations – Ability to work well with guests and staff.

  • Demonstrates leadership and is a self-starter. 
  • Possesses a high level of initiative.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

  • Flexible – Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including holidays, weekends, and evenings.

Language Ability

Math Ability
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and fundamentals. Apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Salary Range: $17.91- $18.63 depending on experience
