We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to work effectively across various functional and technical disciplines, including collaboration with business stakeholders, system engineers, developers, testers, and operations staff. In this role, you will be responsible for full-stack application design and development, technical problem resolution, and providing architectural guidance in a fast-paced Agile environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with diverse teams, including business representatives, architects, developers, testers, and system operations staff to deliver effective solutions.
  • Lead the design, development, and lifecycle management of full-stack applications.
  • Utilize 8+ years of programming experience in .NET, Python, and NodeJS for developing web services, and experience with SQL Server for creating, updating, and querying databases.
  • Develop rich user experiences using React, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript .
  • Implement best practices for API communication structures (REST/JSON), multi-system integrations, and testing strategies.
  • Coordinate the resolution of complex production issues and present new ideas to meet operational goals and objectives.
  • Translate complex concepts into actionable plans within a Scrum team environment.
  • Provide high-level architectural guidance and contribute to the evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Lead the migration of on-premise applications to AWS containerized solutions (EKS) and modernize applications to utilize AWS native tools (RDS, MSK, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Agile software development teams, manage source control using tools such as Git, Azure DevOps , and BitBucket , and implement CI/CD pipelines .
  • Participate in technical peer reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, and provide technical solutions for complex problems.
  • Contribute to requirement gathering, technical documentation, user stories, and agile work estimation.
  • Maintain a passion for continuous learning and adaptability to new technologies.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills, with experience in relationship and project delivery management.
  • Experience in legacy systems modernization, code migration, and application transformation.
  • Experience with open-source and commercial GIS technologies and data , including SpatiaLite, GeoPackage, OGC GIS service standards (WFS, WMS), ESRI map services, ArcGIS JavaScript APIs, Leaflet, GDAL, SQL Server Spatial, and/or PostGIS.
  • 12+ years of software development experience in a range of technologies.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in full-stack application development using .NET, Python, NodeJS , and SQL Server .
  • Proficiency in front-end development using React, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript .
  • Experience with API communication (REST/JSON) and best practices for testing and multi-system interactions.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies, containerized solutions (EKS), and AWS-native tools like RDS and MSK .
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, source control tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to lead complex production issue resolution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across diverse teams.
