About The Role
ZAM is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager for our fast-growing marketing agency business. We are seeking the right candidate to contribute across three key phases of our customer pipeline: 1) Drive the external (B2B) marketing of our organization to attract new business leads. 2) Coordinate new business proposals to convert leads to customers. 3) Assist in supporting relationships and programs with our key existing clients.
Salary for this role will range from $80,000.00 - $100,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City and Los Angeles. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO. This position is bonus-eligible.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop, establish, and maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational and client objectives.
- Manage several direct reports and provide guidance and mentorship to other members of the marketing team.
- Power the marketing, advertising, and promotional activities of the organization.
- Execute online and offline marketing initiatives, integrating digital media, social media, email, dotcom/website, experiential, SEM/SEO strategy development, brand awareness, and other marketing initiatives.
- Create compelling marketing campaigns with sound positioning and messaging to showcase our abilities and produce leads.
- Understand the products and services offering and approach of key competitors; communicate products and services differentiation to senior leadership.
- Coordinate internal teams to develop new business proposals that exceed prospective client expectations with strategic, thorough and professional presentations.
- Author and present key components of new business proposals in clear, powerful prose.
- End-to-end project management with clients, vendors and internal teams including scoping, schedule development, time management and product delivery.
- Drive ideation and presentation of innovative new content, products and programs for existing clients.
- Communicate and manage relationships with priority clients on key projects and initiatives.
- Contribute to program performance and post-mortem reports where needed.
- Internal reporting and other duties as assigned.
Important Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree Required.
- Positive, Proactive, Communicative, Collaborative, Intuitive, Problem Solver, Analytical, Versatile, and 'Thrives Under Pressure' are words that describe you.
- 5-7 years of professional marketing experience.
- 3+ years of experience at a marketing agency and within the video game industry (publisher, studio, etc).
- 3+ years of people management experience.
- Outstanding written communication and oral presentation skills.
- Copywriting for both marketing assets and client-facing deliverables.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization comfortably.
- Go-to-market planning (gaming or related field).
- Marketing strategy development (gaming or related field, B2B).
- Digital marketing planning and execution (social, community, influencer, paid media / UA).
- Account Management (marketing agency or related).
- Project management (marketing planning, marketing execution, events and other related activities).
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines, time management, contingency planning, approval process and financial budgeting.
- Familiarity with technologies and service providers serving marketing clients and agencies.
- Experienced with ClickUp or similar project management software, web conferencing tools, expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google office products.
- Event management and PR experience a plus.
- Producer (digital products, websites) a plus.
- Previous sales experience a plus.
