We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Senior Accountant/Analyst located in Dallas, Texas.Essential Job Duties:This position is a key player in the group. It allows the candidate to develop a strong foundation for increased responsibilities in the future. As time progresses, the candidate will be introduced to additional areas and tasks within the department and company, including:Post journal entries to ensure accuracy in financialsSupport superfund accrual and reconciliation processProvide accurate and timely reporting of information, analyze product cost data, monitor/reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure integrity and accuracy of month end accounting close process.Support plant controllers and perform multiple functions of cost accountingSupport business and manufacturing locations with analysisContribute to a successful conversion from SAP ECC to SAP S4Plan, organize, and complete inventory countsProvide support for external audits and internal auditsRotations within 12 – 18 months provide opportunities for learning and growthFluctuations in workloads may require some overtimeQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (with a minimum 18 hours of Accounting)Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsMust demonstrate initiative and interact effectively with others in a team environmentExcel proficiencyAdditional Desired Qualifications:Accounting experience in a manufacturing environmentExcels in a flexible environment (role rotations every 12 – 18 months, hybrid schedule and overtime during month end close)Familiarity with system integration and reporting systems (IBM Cognos, Business Warehouse, SAP Analytics Cloud, OneStream)Collaborative and excel in a team environmentOxy is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Individual with Disability/Veteran Status
