We are seeking a collaborative, results-driven, and innovative HR Manager / HRBP to join our team.
Opportunity
Streamland Media is seeking a collaborative, results driven, and innovative HRBP who will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the business divisions, aligning HR practices and initiatives with business objectives. The HRBP will be responsible for performing a broad range of HR and operational support for a fun and fast-paced client-based business for our Picture brand, Picture Shop, with approximately 300 employees. The HRBP will also be cross trained and require support as needed for our additional divisions under the Streamland Media umbrella. Reporting to the HR Director for North America, the HR Manager / HRBP will be one of the key points of contact for several of our business divisions. The HR Manager / HRBP will partner with the broader HR team and business divisions to enhance organizational performance, foster employee engagement, and drive change management. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of HR best practices.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the trusted advisor to business division leaders and managing directors; understanding their goals and challenges, and providing strategic HR guidance.
  • Partners with HR Director to address employee concerns, provide guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and conduct thorough and objective investigations as necessary to ensure fair and consistent resolution of employee issues.
  • Coaches managers and employees on performance improvement, development plans, and disciplinary steps when applicable.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliances.
  • Promotes a positive work environment through effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Supports and communicate effectively with managers and employees about change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and execution of new processes.
  • Partners with recruitment team to support the business division's talent acquisition efforts.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the broader HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. A master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably within the entertainment or post-production industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Experience supporting a represented workforce is a plus.

The listed pay range is the salary or hourly wage range that we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting.
