As a seasoned Human Resources professional, you are passionate about enhancing the employee experience. Collaborating closely with the Co-CEO, you will play a vital role in various employee lifecycle initiatives, leadership development, labor and employment law application, and enhancing workplace culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing recruitment and onboarding programs.
  • Conducting interviews and facilitating the hiring process for top talent.
  • Monitoring and documenting compliance with training, ongoing education, and work assessments.
  • Executing new employee orientation and recognition programs.
  • Administering HR programs related to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary actions, investigations, performance management, and occupational health and safety.
  • Addressing employment-related questions from applicants, employees, and management.
  • Participating in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and best practices, including reviewing policies for compliance.
  • Staying updated on HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in talent management and employment law.

Qualifications

  • HRCI or SHRM certification, coupled with solid HR generalist experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A proactive leadership approach to advise on and implement best practices in compensation, culture, compliance, and beyond.
  • Preferred experience in IT and technical recruiting.
  • A genuine passion for developing staff and enhancing employee programs.
  • Resourceful, warm, and creative mindset.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/talent management systems.
