APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Architecture school with B.Arch and/or M.Arch.
  • 12+ years of professional experience in the US after completion of school.
  • Licensure required.
  • LEED AP and PHIUS accreditation is a strong plus.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

The Project Manager position will be architecture-focused, responsible for leading several small to mid-sized teams through the overall project design and documentation process on mid-to-large-sized commercial and multifamily projects. Working closely with a Project Architect and/or Job Captain and designer staff, responsibilities will include internal team management, consultant and client coordination, internal design schedule management, and reviewing progress on the overall project documentation. Responsibilities will extend into the construction administration phase.

Qualified candidates must be proficient in building design and detailing, with a strong background in wood-framed multifamily construction (Type III and V construction). The applicant shall be highly motivated and possess strong communication, written, and organizational skills, as the candidate will be forward-facing.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High proficiency in Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam.
  • Working knowledge in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to efficiently and accurately markup and sketch through progress plans and details (by hand or via Bluebeam)
  • Proficiency in the preparation of Permit and Construction Documents.
  • Strong technical background in multifamily wood-frame construction and detailing.
  • Sustainability-focused with proficient knowledge of building science as it relates to the exterior envelope.
  • Working knowledge of building systems, local building and zoning codes, & regulations.
  • Working knowledge of establishing design fees, writing proposals, and reviewing AIA contracts
  • Ability to work efficiently in small teams.
  • Ability to make well-informed project decisions.
  • Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Highly motivated, flexible in the face of dynamic workflow, and self-starting.
  • Ability to multitask.
