Job Summary:
The Sales Manager at Blake Fulenwider Ford of Andrews is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to meet and exceed dealership sales goals. This individual will oversee the daily operations of the sales department, build and maintain relationships with customers, and collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless sales process. This is a full-time, individual contributor role located in Andrews, Texas.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive compensation package including a base salary, commission, and bonus potential. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and overall dealership goals
- Work with the General Manager to develop sales strategies, goals, and objectives for the dealership
- Train, coach, and mentor sales staff to improve their product knowledge, customer service skills, and overall sales performance
- Monitor sales numbers and report on sales activity, successes, and areas for improvement
- Foster a positive and customer-centric work culture within the sales team
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to generate repeat and referral business
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and service, to ensure a smooth sales process
- Stay up-to-date with industry and product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a sales manager or similar role in the automotive industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of sales processes and techniques
- Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with inventory management and sales tracking systems
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework or degree preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
