Pay Range: $50/hr -$60/hr


Typical Day in the Role


• Purpose of the Team: The team is delivering on the continued legacy of our gaming franchise.

• Key projects: This role is looking for a Project Manager / Producer to partner with our Executive Producer in managing day-to-day production and workflow for various projects within the studio.

• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 15% additional communications/emails, 30% meetings, 50% project management, 20% coordinating work through tools such as Azure devops.

Candidate Requirements


• Years of Experience Required: 5 years of work-related experience, 3+ of project management

• Degrees or certifications required: Scrum Certification as a Scrum Master or Product Owner preferred for the role.

• Disqualifiers: There are no published games with a production role credit that would stand out on a resume as a disqualifier.

• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would have experience

• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines, quality of work, and feedback from the team.



Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience


• Minimum 2 published games with a Production role credit.

• Minimum 1 year experience with Azure Devops.

• Minimum 3 years knowledge with scrum and waterfall methodologies.



Project Manager / Producer


At our studio, the team is working on delivering on the continued legacy of our gaming franchise. They are a passionate group responsible for growing a piece of gaming history, and were looking for an experienced Project Manager / Producer to partner with our Executive Producer in managing day-to-day production and workflow for various projects within the studio. Our ideal candidate is: detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; capable of tracking and communicating complex work items across multiple projects; a great communicator and biased toward an inclusive work environment, and someone who cares deeply about delivering the best possible gaming experience for the fans.


In this role, the candidate is a key contributor between internal and external teams across a wide variety of functions and subject matter expertise. Youll have direct influence and responsibility for the quality and outcomes of feature development, product publishing efforts, and important partnerships.


The day-to-day tasks will vary depending on project needs, but key responsibilities include:

• Identifying, communicating, tracking, and reporting on the individual tasks & work items assigned to you

• Coordinating across teams to deliver quality on-time, related to features, content, events, testing, localization, product extensions, and user engagement

• Review and provide informed feedback on development schedules and roadmaps

• Collaborate with our internal and external teams to remove blockers and ensure pathways to product development and G2M goals

• Communicate status and updates on critical work items to key stakeholders regularly

• Providing flexible assistance for other Producers as needed



Qualifications


• 3+ years experience in Project Management, or a related field that requires broad coordination

• A minimum of 2 published games with a Production role credit

• A self-starter that can identify gaps and product needs without being prompted

• Strong organizational and collaboration skills that contribute to documenting a plan and helping others accomplish their goals

• Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

• Constant drive to learn and adapt to ever-changing surroundings and gaming trends

• Passion for and understanding of gaming and gaming culture

• Self-starter with the ability to work flexing hours as your project demands.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Teams, Microsoft Office, and other project management tools



The ideal candidate will also possess:


• First-hand knowledge of the franchise

• Experience with Games-as-a-Service and operating a live product

• PC technical knowledge & PC gaming experience

• Scrum Certification as a Scrum Master or Product Owner

• Familiarity with C#, C++, or other programming languages and basic engineering concepts

• Ability to provide additional perspective to our teams to help improve the overall franchise
