Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney on behalf of a prominent law firm in Wellesley, MA. This full-time position offers a hybrid work model, allowing a balance between remote and in-office hours. The role focuses on estate planning, probate and trust administration, and adult guardianship and conservatorship court proceedings. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality client service.

Duties:

  1. Draft trust and estate planning documents.
  2. Meet with clients to facilitate the execution of estate plans.
  3. Prepare and file probate pleadings with the probate court.
  4. Maintain extensive communication with clients regarding case progress and requirements.
  5. Prepare estate tax returns and trust accountings.
  6. Handle probate and trust administration matters independently.
  7. Participate in guardianship and conservatorship court proceedings.

Requirements:

  1. 0-3 years of experience in estate planning, probate, or trust administration.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Ability to work independently and manage a fast-paced workload.

Education:

  1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  1. Active Massachusetts Bar License (required).

Skills:

  2. Strong client relationship management skills.
  3. Ability to independently manage probate and trust administration tasks.
  4. Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
  5. Ability to meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
