for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC metal fabrication equipment.
Working under minimal supervision, this position requires a high level of skill in CNC
programming, machining, and precision measuring tools. The role involves ensuring high-quality
production, contributing to the design and manufacturability of fixtures and fabricated parts,
troubleshooting, and continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate will excel in
producing high-quality precision parts, with a thorough understanding of GD&T, lean
manufacturing, and safety standards.
CNC Machine Operation: Set up, program, and operate Swiss turning CNC machines
along with various other machines such as lathes, vertical machining centers, mills, drills,
saws, and grinders. Make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance
and production accuracy.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical blueprints, GD&T specifications,
engineering drawings, and equipment documentation, to ensure precision in
manufacturing processes and part production.
Fixture Design & Manufacturability: Collaborate on the design and development of
assembly fixtures and tooling to meet tolerance requirements. Provide recommendations
to improve manufacturability, efficiency, and quality in fabrication processes.

precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, and CMM
(Coordinate Measuring Machines) to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Perform first-article inspections and make necessary adjustments to meet tolerances.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and troubleshoot machine issues, perform
preventative and routine maintenance, and ensure that machines are in optimal working
condition. Reduce downtime through efficient problem-solving, repairs, and daily regular
cleaning on machinery and equipment.
Process Improvement: Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives,
including reducing cycle times, optimizing tool paths, and enhancing programming
efficiency. Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve workflow and productivity.
Team Leadership & Collaboration: Foster collaboration across internal teams,
including engineering, production, and quality departments, to ensure smooth operations,
delivery, and high production standards.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety
protocols, guidelines, and workplace cleanliness. Ensure machines and tools are operated
in compliance with OSHA standards and internal safety procedures.
