Minimum Job Requirements
- Physical- Good manual dexterity, eyesight and capable of lifting up to 40lbs safely or with assistance. Capability of standing and bending over for long periods of time while performing manual labor with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Working Hours- Fulltime employment (40+hrs/week).
- Personal Traits- Good communication skills with positive teamwork attitude. Conscientious attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow direction and or work independently, able to multi-task and trouble shoot. Punctuality and safe work habits.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Timely completion of job functions in accordance with the established safety, quality, and cost standards of the company.
- Assemble components for final assembly of finished or semi-finished goods in conformance with specifications and meet daily required production assignments.
- Inspect parts and pack them if trained.
- Responsible for material handling and organization of parts for the applicable assembly area.
- Operate production equipment as trained.
- Maintain monthly Scrap Log.
- Understand the Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
- Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction by working with department supervisor and department lead.
- Work safely and ensure hazardous conditions are eliminated. Follow company safety procedures.
- Communicate accurately and effectively to other individuals in the department as well as other departments.
- Complete task independently from job-list.
- Accurately maintain MES system as instructed.
- Follow and execute ISO Quality system procedures including, instructions on job travelers and control plan per ISO procedures.
- Audit of materials and/or production parts before delivery to next operation area.
- Maintain applicable equipment and perform preventable maintenance.
- Assist in the monthly inventory process.
- Arrive to work in a punctual manner and be willing to work overtime when needed.
- Maintain neat and clean work area.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Possess basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to visually inspect parts.
- Ability to use hand or power tools.
Education and Experience
- Manufacturing shop experience preferred
