Job Requirements / Description

Your Tasks

  • Implement quality and environmental systems and coordinate on-going maintenance and continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure compliance of quality and environmental systems to all required standards including customer specific requirements
  • Plan, coordinate and perform (as required) internal/external process and system audits.
  • Provide consultation upon request for quality and environmental system gap-analysis, benchmarking, and/or customer complaints.
  • Train plant personnel on quality and environmental systems as required.
  • Monitor of internal, customer and supplier complaints in SAP Quality Module; generate failure cost reports and provide information on any relevant topics to top management.
  • Develop and perform monthly quality metrics reporting to plant and corporate management.
  • Plan, apply and monitor the approved yearly budget for Plant representatives, apply contra measures in case of plan / actual deviations.
  • The role "EHS_Environmental Management Coordinator" is responsible for the implementation, continual improvement and effectiveness of the environmental management system in the plant.
  • The role "EHS_Water Protection Officer" advises the management on all matters relating to water protection and the handling of fresh and waste water at the location.
  • The "EHS_Hazardous Materials Officer" supports her/his Supervisor and the Employees in his working area in the implementation of the legal obligations for handling hazardous substances.
  • The "COM_EHS Health and Environmental Protection Team" (Abbreviation: ARGUS) has the task of advising on environmental protection issues and preparing decisions that are of general operational interest. The composition of members and the tasks are regulated by the local charter. The ARGUS meetings take place at least four times a year (quarterly).
  • Develop and perform regulations to ensure compliance with Environmental procedures and be pro-active in the development of a safe working environment and follow the requirements of Environmental Management System responsibility matrix
  • Other duties assigned by Manager/Supervisor.


Your Profile

  • Five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Quality and Environmental Systems including ISO/TS16949, ISO 14001 and Ford/FCA customer specific requirements, vda6.3
  • Auditing experience and certification
  • Knowledge of AIAG standards (PPAP, MSA, FMEA, LPA, APQP)
  • Knowledge of OSHA
  • Knowledge of Local Environmental Regulations
  • Problem solving method (8d, 5WHY, etc)
  • Proficient knowledge in SAP QM Module
  • Proficient in MS Office
