We’re seeking a collaborative and driven Marketing Associate with an appreciation for design. Our ideal candidate is both creative and analytical — someone who is keeping an eye on what’s trending and what our customers are interested in, and then wants to evaluate the data to see what’s working and what should change. More than anything, we’re looking for someone who is excited to learn new skills, get creative, and not afraid to take initiative. This role reports to the Director of Marketing, and will collaborate closely with the rest of the team.
This position is on premise and located at our showroom in Boston’s South End.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute email, social media, and paid ad campaigns that increase brand loyalty and awareness
- Develop and monitor campaign budgets
- Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, to assess against goals and identify trends and insights
- Design digital and print marketing collateral
- Identify trends within the design industry and beyond
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to create content, promotional materials, and more
- Help create a consistent brand and user experience across all channels
- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related field
- 1 year or more of marketing experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an affinity for copywriting
- Experience creating and managing social media campaigns and our overall social presence
- Proficiency in the Adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
- Working knowledge of web design principles and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
- Familiarity with analytical tools, such as Google Analytics
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing
Not necessary but if you possess the following skill sets or attributes, we want to hear about it:
- Familiarity with the furniture industry
- Customer service experience
- Familiarity with Klaviyo, Later, BigCommerce, or Acumatica
- Experience with photography and styling
- We have a soft spot for Dutch but any additional languages to English are always of interest
