LEMOINE, a Great Place to Work-Certified company, is currently seeking a Project Engineer for our LEAP Program.


LEMOINE Engineering Advancement Program (LEAP) participants are initially assigned to Estimating, Project Management, or Field Supervision and guided throughout the program by a Coach in each respective discipline. Through the formal rotation-typically 9-12 months, depending on project assignment/requirements-in each of these three (3) disciplines, combined with formal training, the LEAP participants are exposed to a well-rounded professional experience in the field of construction management.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the preparation and submission of RFIs, Submittals, etc. to Architect/Owner, including the distribution of responses to the affected Trade Partners.
  • Conducts inspections before, during, and after installation of work put in place using predetermined checklists and documents with photographs, as required by the site-specific QA/QC plan.
  • Assists in the preparation of bid proposal, including the cost breakdown, clarifications, scope, and exclusions.
  • Performs Subcontract quantity take-off on assigned Trade scopes and leads the development of tab sheets.
  • Assists the Superintendent in the daily scheduling and supervision of on-site activities.
  • Actively participates and ensures the completion and quality of trade partner JSAs and uses JSAs to plan tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in Construction Management, Engineering, or related curriculum or equivalent work experience.
  • Internship in the commercial construction industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and general management and business skills.
  • Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and estimating for construction trades (all disciplines).
  • Requires capabilities in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent math, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
