The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for providing support to and assisting with data collection and entry, quality assurance, file maintenance, and audit compliance. The Entry Clerk will ensure timely and accurate data entry in accordance with Abounding Prosperity Inc.’s policies and assist in achieving the program’s outcomes and long-term goals.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collect, interpret, and record data in accordance with the 01agency’s guidelines and standards.
Perform data validation and storage of various project documents.
Sort and organize the data, both hard copies and electronic versions.
Assists in collecting data with internal and external audits and quality assurance efforts.
Assisting in the application and interpretation of data to drive Abounding Prosperity’s quality improvement efforts.
Provide data for reports and visual presentations for the Data Coordinator, Data Manager, Director of Research, Program Director, and/or senior leadership.
Assist in the resolution and response to issues and questions regarding data reporting
Help establish standard processes and procedures in the data management department; update database maintenance guides and archive processes/manuals
Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 2 years of formal data entry training or relevant education and training is required. At least 3 years of related data experience required. Experience serving sexual minorities of color preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Good working knowledge of federal, state, and “in-house” data management systems.
Demonstrated experience leveraging best practices and creative solutions to solve problems.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
A high degree of competency in data gathering, analysis, and reporting.
Adept at keyboarding and organization, as well as filing and coding data.
Ability to effectively present information in response to questions from leadership, management, and funders.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and basic computer applications.
