We are seeking a Lead QA Tester to join our team in Rockville, MD

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify test scenarios and support documenting testing activities in user stories for validation by the team
  • Execute testing and then automate testing once approved by appropriate teams
  • Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline
  • Analyze test results and reports to remedy any issues
  • Support reporting to stakeholders on the status of testing activities and outcomes
  • Help to ensure that testing results in securing and maintaining a FISMA-moderate ATO
  • Support the creation and maintenance of documents, reports, and/or documentation including test plans and test cases, test results and coverage, incidents and defects
  • Support issue response, debugging, and resolution from development to production environments to ensure successful operation of the Data Platform

Work Experience:

  • A lead QA/Tester with experience on back-end or cloud testing preferred

Job Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office including Excel, Office, etc.
  • Comprehensive problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to convert business requirements into testable artifacts
  • Willingness to learn, evolve and multi-task.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or related field required

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

  • Any related Certification on Testing/QA Automation is desired.
  • Ability to obtain public trust clearance.

Communication Skills:

  • Solid ability to interface, inspire and motivate at various levels of the organization.
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.

Travel:

  • No Travel Requirements.

Environmental Requirements:

  • Mainly sedentary; in an office environment. May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds.
  • Flexible in working extended hours.
