Position Summary:

The Production Manager organize and oversee the manufacturing of goods. Manage the development, performance and maintenance of the manufacturing production of the organization to produce smooth and efficient production and delivery solution, maximizing performance & profitability against pre-agreed targets. ensuring that the team understands that the organization’s profits are reflected in all its manufacturing production and activities– including relationships and risk management

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Stand and/or walk up to eight (8) hours per day, overtime needed per production plan.
  2. Follow all safety guidelines.
  3. Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
  4. Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
  5. Monitor production to resolve issues
  6. Supervise and evaluate performance of production workers.
  7. Determine number of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
  8. Ensure output meets quality standards
  9. Enforce health and safety precautions
  10. Report to upper management Support policies, procedures and initiatives in support of business objectives.
  11. Lead the assembly operator team.
  12. Perform other duties as required.


Requirements and skills:

  1. 3+ years of management experience. Experience in lawn equipment or automobile assembly line industry is a plus.
  2. Must be able to lead and manage others, while promoting a teamwork environment.
  3. Proven experience as production supervisor.
  4. Deep knowledge of production management
  5. Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
  6. Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
  7. Experience in reporting on key production metrics
  8. Proficient in MS Office and ERP/SAP/MES software
  9. Outstanding communication ability
  10. Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
  11. Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
  12. BSc/Ba in business administration or relevant field is preferred Strong problem-solving mentality.
  13. Excellent presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
  14. Highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
  15. Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team member.
  16. Self-starting with solid follow-through and multitasking abilities.
  17. Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload.
