PROGRAM DIRECTOR

BrightSpring Health Services - Program Director - Morehead, Kentucky

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Program Director is responsible for tasks related to the overall operations of the StepStone Program and ensures compliance with accreditation guidelines. This position supervises trainers, administrative staff, and provides administrative supervision of case managers.

Responsibilities:

1. Acts as a clinical representative of the agency.
2. Reviews and processes all referrals for possible admissions within the agency.
3. Follows up on all referrals received and collaborates with foster parent recruiters/trainers to identify appropriate homes for placement.
4. Requests and secures all documentation needed to complete the placement/admission of a child/youth with the agency at intake.
5. Assigns a case manager to all children/youth in the agency population.
6. Conducts program team meetings and other outside organizational meetings sponsored by the state, surrounding counties, managed care providers, or foster care networks.
7. Supervises tasks completed by the site office coordinator.
8. Keeps the office and work area neat and organized.
9. Maintains confidential information related to children/youth in care and foster parents licensed with StepStone.
10. Assists with quarterly file audits of child/youth files and utilizes information obtained to improve compliance and quality of child/youth files.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of MSW, MSSW, OR CSW; LPCC, LPCA, LCSW, MFTA, or LMFT in addition to degree requirements.
2. At least a B.A. or B.S. in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services with five years of relevant experience to agency clientele; education and related training can be substituted.
3. Familiarity with agency intake/placement procedures and guidelines, necessary forms, and standard intake procedures.
4. Knowledge of standard state rules and regulations regarding child-placing agents.
5. Ability to coordinate and maintain client files and agency forms.
6. Strong computer software and program skills.
