Position Summary
Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an Mid-Level Program Analyst Senior , supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office, Crystal City, VA.
ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but not limited to:
- Understand the US Service F-35 IOs and their organizational goals
- Understand the JPO and PMO organizations and their organizational goals
- Provide in-depth analysis and monitoring of US Service-specific logistics within the JPO and PMOs
- Develop and prepare programmatic briefing materials for, and on behalf of, the SD Team
- Receive, track, and process internal and external tasking for the SD Team
- Assist in the development, delivery, monitoring, and verification of completion of tasks from the SD Team to internal and external organizations
- Identify and implement process improvement to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the SD Team
- Act as a surrogate for the SD Team in the event of a SD being unavailable or having a meeting/time conflict
- Assist with communication to and from the SD Team
- Assist with other tasks as may be assigned to or by the SD Team
DELIVERABLES:
- Semi-annual: (Self) Performance goals and self-assessment
- Monthly: (Team) Analysis (spreadsheet or slide presentation) of US Service logistics/supply status to include sustainment funding allocated by PMO
- Monthly: (Self) Synopsis of annual personal/professional training requirements and progress toward completion
- Weekly: (Team) Analysis of pending, new, and outstanding SD taskers from external organizations
- Weekly: (Team) Analysis of pending, new, and outstanding SD taskers within JPO Enterprise Tasker Management System (ETMS2)
- Weekly: (Self) Synopsis of work accomplished
- Daily: (Self) Notification of presence for work
- As needed: (Team) Analysis (spreadsheet or presentation) of US Service operational and/or sustainment requirements and PMO progress to meeting requirements
- As needed: (Team) Analysis of PMO Integrated Master Schedules (if available)
- As needed: (Team) Business Case Analysis support for pending US Service operational requirements
- As needed: (Team) SD administrative support services and products
Qualifications
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance : Secret
Education: BS or BA in a relevant field (ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: AA degree and at least two (2) years of Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition experience can be substituted for a BS or BA degree)
Years of Experience: At least five (5) years of experience in defense acquisition management related to weapon systems logistics and/or acquisition and life cycle management
Additional Information
Working knowledge of DoD Instruction 5000.2 - Operation of the Defense Acquisition System
Demonstrated professional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products
- Possess knowledge of military aircraft operations and/or maintenance practices
