ID: 51561330 Shift: Day shifts Description: Physical Therapists are responsible for the evaluation of patients referred for physical therapy treatment, formulation of a treatment plan and goals, and administration of the physical therapy treatments.They will be active in inpatient and outpatient services, interacting with all hospital departments and medical staff. What you'll do: 1:1 Patient care with one 45 min appointment every hour. Performs appropriate evaluation tests and measurements based on the patient s diagnosis. Develop treatment plans, including reassess and revise every 6 weeks or earlier based on patient's progress. Performs physical therapy techniques appropriate to the diagnosis. Demonstrates use of physical therapy modalities appropriate to the diagnosis. Documents progress reports for patients in a timely manner to coincide with physician follow up visits, and to assist with compliance for insurance carriers and utilization review companies for authorization and reimbursement. In addition to scheduled weekday and Saturday shifts, will share with other PTs coverage for in-patient care on holidays and Sundays (generally one holiday per year and Sunday coverage 6-8 times per year). American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required. Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments. Additional Information:We can provide dorm-style housing (depending on availability) in completely self-sufficient apartments for a monthly cost. The rental cost depends on the size of the dorm. The one-bedrooms include a kitchen/living area with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, and flat-screen tv. They also have separate bedroom with a full size bed, a desk, bathroom with shower/tub, and a wardrobe. Each studio has a kitchenette with a smaller refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, full-size bed, desk, wardrobe, flat-screen television, and bathroom. All apartments are furnished with living area furniture and counter stools. There is wi-fi and cable throughout the apartments. Amenities at the apartments: pool, ping-pong, or foosball in our great common area, hang out on couches next to the fireplace, or use state-of-the-art equipment in our weight room.
