Accounting Manager

Rivkin Radler LLP is looking for a strong candidate to join the Accounting team as the Accounting Manager, reporting directly to the Director of Finance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage, train, develop and motivate Accounting department staff
2. Handle the monthly closing process and report distribution
3. Responsible for accuracy and integrity of Aderant accounting system
4. Process journal entries
5. Bank reconciliations
6. Account analysis
7. Banking and treasury including daily cash reporting
8. Work with attorneys and banks on the handling of escrow banking activities
9. Oversee processing of invoices and expense reimbursements through Chrome River and Aderant
10. Semi-monthly payroll and related journal entries
11. Responsible for 401(k) funding, schedules, forfeitures and loan records
12. Fee participation and origination calculations
13. Review Partner Business Development and Marketing reports
14. Maintain Partner expense account spend in Quicken
15. Responsible for calculation of addbacks for partner auto lease payments
16. Assist as needed with annual financial statement review
17. Lead the audit of our 401(k) benefit plan
18. Team member for system upgrades and implementations
19. Ad hoc requests and special projects

EXPERIENCE

1. College degree with a major in Accounting or Finance, CPA a plus
2. 4+ years of accounting experience
3. 2+ years of supervisory experience
4. Law firm or professional service experience required
5. Experience with Aderant or Elite
6. Experience with Ceridian and/or Chrome River a plus
7. Proficient in Microsoft Excel

The annualized salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
