About this Position:
The TIS Analyst provides support to the TIS (Technical Information and Support) team, handling domestic activities as assigned by the Vehicle Engineering management. These activities provide comprehensive research and coordination support to Honda/Acura dealers, internal AHM departments, NAMQ, factories and R&Ds for achieving Lifetime Owner Loyalty (Customer Satisfaction on the products and services).
Responsibilities include:
- Planning, conducting, and analyzing customer/dealer surveys
- Creating and posting iN messages to Honda/Acura dealers
- Monitoring and responding to TIS inbound calls and emails
- Compile and provide iN message feedback for collection of parts/information, coordination, and support
- Dealer visits, and direct connection with customers for appointment scheduling, and vehicle availability
- Conduct field and market research projects/requests, compile preliminary analysis & reports, develop and compose presentation materials, etc.
- Coordinate factory recovery activities, including port, railhead, and dealer holds and repair requests
- TIS also supports Export Service activities by managing the technical information communicated between AH Engineering and the CCA (Caribbean and Central American) distributors. This role focuses on Honda internally initiated/managed projects that require coordination and follow up between the export distributors and Honda teams
- Track the status of CCA quality investigations i.e., QIC, QIS, and Ad Hoc reports and requests.
- Work with distributors to harvest parts needed for investigations
- Prepare or modify technical documents to be issued to distributors and/or customers
- Post vehicle information and training material on the Honda Network site
- Plan and coordinate factory recovery activity
- Manage schedule of technical information being posted to Service Information System by attending Service Action meetings and working with the Publication department.
Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience handling issues and concerns with retail customers (i.e. Customer Call Center, dealer customer service experience, etc.) with emphasis on automotive product issues
- Automotive technical background is desired
Required Education:
- BS/BA degree in Automotive Technology, Engineering, vocational education, or equivalent work experience
Desired skills:
- Ability to perform primary and secondary research
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Strong analytical abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with PC based applications (MS Office, CICS, iN, etc.)
- Knowledge of Honda/Acura product lines and the competitor lines is desired

- Competitive base salary $64,480 to $90,200
