Responsibilities
- Reviewing and responding to all clarifications, materials and drawings submittals delivered by the contractor to ensure compliance with tender specifications and project requirements.
- Monitoring and managing the site supervision team in compliance with the Project Specification, including checking documentation related to the works and reviewing the contractor’s monthly valuations and reports.
- Assisting the Resident Engineers and Assistant Resident Engineers in reviewing architectural materials for compliance with approved submittals, conducting finishing inspections, and managing architectural correspondences.
- Monitoring material deliveries to the site to ensure quality and compliance with approved materials.
- Ensuring that works installed are in compliance with the approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinating site installation issues and referring them to design-build contractors for resolution.
- Providing oversight and confirming that acceptable solutions are implemented correctly.
- Highlighting any violations related to architectural issues on site.
- Attending progress meetings.
- Verifying the completion of architectural works.
Profile
- Relevant Architectural or Construction related qualification, e.g. B.Arch / M.Arch.
- Minimum of 15 years relevant site architecture experience.
- Project experience within Rail / Metro environment.
- Knowledge of project design, construction documentation, and construction materials.
- Combined design and design management experience, including knowledge of plans and specifications for building projects.
