Position Overview:
Comprehensive Health Clinics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Massage Therapist to join our dedicated team in Cambridge, MN. As a Massage Therapist at our clinic, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to our diverse clientele, helping them achieve their health and wellness goals. Key Responsibilities:
Perform Therapeutic Massage: Administer various types of massage therapy techniques, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and trigger point therapy, tailored to meet each patient's needs.
Client Assessment: Conduct thorough patient consultations to assess their needs, medical history, and preferences to create customized treatment plans.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting treatments, progress, and any relevant observations.
Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the massage therapy room and equipment are clean, well-organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and physical therapists, to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest massage therapy techniques, industry trends, and continuing education opportunities.
Promote Wellness: Educate patients on self-care practices, post-massage care, and lifestyle adjustments that can enhance their overall well-being.
Administrative Duties: Assist with scheduling, client intake, and other administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Qualifications:
Licensure: Valid massage therapy license in the state of Minnesota.
Experience: 2 years of professional massage therapy experience preferred, but newly licensed therapists with relevant training are also encouraged to apply.
Skills: Proficiency in a range of massage techniques; strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Certifications: Current CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Education: Completion of a recognized massage therapy training program.
