Nightwing is seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator with a proven ability supporting classified program networks in a challenging, high-tempo, dynamic work environment. Responsibilities of this position include:

1. Designing, implementing and maintaining Information Technology systems to support Nightwing engineering and program execution.
2. Performing recurring IT support and system administration tasks such as software and hardware installations and troubleshooting, system hardening, vulnerability assessment, OS patching and general network administration across various computing systems.
3. Coordinating IT operations activities between program personnel, security teams, leadership, and the engineering community.
4. Abide by established baselines, processes and industry best practices in the execution of daily tasking, projects and produce reference documentation.

Basic Qualifications

1. 6+ years of applicable experience developing and supporting IT solutions in accredited classified network environments.
2. Proven ability in collaborating with internal and external customers and delivering technical solutions to engineering teams.
3. Established presentation and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience.
4. High level of proficiency and experience in Linux Systems Administration using Debian or Red Hat based distributions.
5. Understanding and familiarity with various IT concepts such as virtualization, basic networking, Microsoft Active Directory services, DHCP, DNS, etc.
6. Understanding and familiarity with containerized application deployments using Docker.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Proficient in system compliance and hardening using DISA STIGs or CIS Benchmarks.
2. Proficient in scripting and automation using Python, BASH and Ansible.
3. Proficient in audit collection and analysis using Splunk.
4. Proficient in vulnerability assessment and remediation using Nessus or Rapid7.
5. Familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles and concepts.
6. Familiarity with NIST 800-53 control frameworks.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering or equivalent experience.

Possess or be able to obtain a DOD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (ie. Security+ CE, CISSP, etc.).

Clearance

This position requires a current TS/SCI clearance w/ Full Scope Polygraph.

The salary range for this role is 105,000 USD - 221,000 USD.
