Sales Director
This role will lead/manage the nine Regional Account Managers.
Job Summary
Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.
- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
- Successful previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager, or sales and marketing director.
- Experience in managing recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Understanding of common sales techniques and theory, including sales funnel.
- Persuasive and goal-oriented.
- Eager to expand the company with new sales and clients.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
- College degree or commensurate experience.
- Travel - 60%-80%.
