Regional Account Manager – Foodservice
(Florida based)
Our client is a leading specialty food service manufacturer. Due to continued growth, they are seeking to hire a Regional Food Service Sales Manager based in Florida covering the SE region. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing sales activities and driving revenue growth in the region. This is a home-based role in Florida and will require travel throughout the region. This is a key position that requires strong food service sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients/end users.
Responsibilities:
- Proven track record of success in sales in food service and calling on end users/ retail customers
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and meet sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English, read and write a must. Spanish speaking is a plus
- Ability to analyze market data and make informed business decisions
- Culinary Skills to demonstrate products
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives
- Sell to food service distributors in your region and call on retail end users, Corporate HQ’s and local QSR’s
- Build and maintain relationships with key end users and stakeholders
- Attend trade shows and demonstrations as needed
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competition, and best practices
