New Home Star is seeking a motivated, educated, goal-oriented sales leader to join our team. If you fit the requirements below, you are an ideal match for this position!
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the new home sales industry, with at least five (5) years of sales management experience.
- Possess a passion and skillset to engage, educate, guide, and influence others.
- Highly motivated self-starter with the desire to learn and the ability to assimilate new information continuously.
- Ability to work in and maneuver around various work sites, including sales offices, multi-story model homes, dirt lots with varied terrain, and construction sites.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.
- Frequent travel is required.
- Proficiency in Zoom, MS Office Suite such as Excel and Word, Google Docs, and PowerPoint.
- A real estate license is not required to start, but it must be obtained in the state of operation within six (6) months during the training period.
- Reliable transportation is required to facilitate travel throughout your workday.
- A valid driver's license and current liability insurance are required.
- A bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
- Background checks required.
- Oversee multiple divisions and provide managerial guidance to sales directors.
- Ensure company financial and operational goals are met and exceeded.
- Serve as a vital member of the company's leadership team, providing strategic guidance and contributing to the organization's overall success.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales objectives.
- Maintain positive relationships with builder partners and ensure client satisfaction in sales strategy, sales results, staffing, and community-level marketing.
- Act as a resource to New Home Star Sales Associates in creating brand awareness and quarterly business plan presentations to our builder partners.
- Lead in recurring divisional manager and sales training/meetings.
- Provide updates regarding market conditions, local competition, and recommendations on possible advertising or incentive programs.
- Help drive participation in recurring sales training via our proprietary sales enablement platform and in person.
- Participate in company executive meetings and trainings designed for Managers and Director-level personnel to drive overall company strategy.
