The job is performed in non-hazardous environments and a clean atmosphere.

Essential Role Responsibilities:
- Welcome on-site visitors, determine the nature of their business and announce visitors to appropriate personnel.
- Answer phone calls and provide assistance to parents and school staff
- Perform other office support duties, sorting, copying, filing, and collating, when required.
- Process incoming/outgoing mail/faxes and distribute them to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist the Registrar in student registration as needed.
- Compile daily student attendance and contact parents of absent students.
- Complete the end of the month student attendance report.
- Record employee absence and verify coverage
- Verify employee attendance on bi-weekly payroll sheet. Ensure signature of employees.
- Maintain copier machines, change cartridges when needed and arrange for repairs.
- Act as building cashier, process all deposits, collect and enter school fees.
- Maintain petty cash.
- Process purchase orders and distribute materials.
- Prepare and forward to the Registrar all transfer student records.
- Monitor student office helpers.
- Prepare and assemble eighth grade records for high school.
- Prepare and organize bulk mailings.
- Other duties may be assigned by Administration.
- Ability to communicate and interact with individuals from varied educations and social backgrounds.
- Ability to work in a highly confidential business atmosphere.
- Exhibit accomplished office equipment operator skills, e.g., computers, printers, fax, copiers, and phone system.
- Highly skilled in developing and using complex filing systems, both hard copy and database-related.
- Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing environment.
- Ability to maintain a cooperative nature under stressful business situations.
- Ability to work effectively with computer word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and other applicable software applications.
