Job Summary:

We are seeking an Application Support Analyst DSI with strong expertise in supporting DSI (Data Systems International) systems and preferred experience in JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne (E1) . The successful candidate will provide critical support for DSI’s mobile and data collection solutions, ensuring the smooth operation of business processes and seamless integration with JDE E1. This role requires strong technical and problem-solving skills, along with a solid understanding of enterprise-level data collection and ERP systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • DSI Support: Provide expert-level support for DSI systems, including mobile data collection applications and barcode scanning solutions.
  • Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex DSI-related technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • DSI Mobile Solutions Support: Manage and support DSI mobile applications, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • System Enhancements: Collaborate with business users and IT teams to identify and implement enhancements and optimizations within DSI solutions to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Integration with JDE E1: Work on the integration of DSI with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) and other enterprise systems, resolving integration challenges and ensuring accurate data flow between platforms.
  • Customization & Configuration: Customize and configure DSI solutions to meet specific business needs, working with stakeholders to ensure proper functionality and alignment with business processes.
  • User Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users on the effective use of DSI systems, including mobile devices and data collection processes.
  • Proactive Monitoring: Monitor DSI systems for potential issues, optimizing system performance and addressing concerns before they impact business operations.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of DSI configurations, processes, and issue resolution steps for internal use and future reference.
  • Collaboration with IT Teams: Work closely with IT, development, and operations teams to ensure cohesive support and integration of DSI solutions with other business applications.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues, developing long-term solutions to enhance system stability and performance.


Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience supporting DSI solutions, with a focus on mobile data collection and barcode scanning.
  • DSI Expertise: Strong knowledge of DSI data collection systems, mobile applications, and integration with ERP systems.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues within DSI environments.
  • Mobile Application Support: Experience in configuring and supporting DSI mobile solutions, including mobile devices and related infrastructure.
  • Integration Experience: Familiarity with integrating DSI systems with ERP platforms, with preferred experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) .
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide detailed root cause analysis and resolutions for technical challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Documentation: Experience in creating and maintaining documentation for system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and user guides.


Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) , particularly in relation to integrating DSI with JDE systems.
  • Familiarity with SQL or Oracle databases in a DSI or ERP environment.
  • Experience with EDI or other third-party integrations.
  • DSI certifications related to mobile data collection or ERP system integration.
