We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians in a center-based setting. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting children with autism and assisting them in reaching their full potential. Under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will provide one-on-one assistance to implement personalized behavior intervention plans. Using evidence-based techniques, you will focus on teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while helping to reduce interfering behaviors.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with autism. Even if you do not have prior experience, we will provide comprehensive training to equip you for this role. Due to the unpredictable nature of working with children, as well as the physical demands of the role, we need individuals with patience, compassion, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Additionally, this role involves physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting, and carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

- Pay Rate:
- This role starts between $16 - $19 per hour and increases based on experience, certification level, and highest level of education.
- Requirements:
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test (if not completed in the last year)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
