Shift: Day Shift (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM), Monday to Friday
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Overview:

• As a Medical Assistant in a small pulmonary clinic, you will support providers by rooming patients, performing oxygen titrations, completing forms, and managing in-basket tasks. The clinic handles diagnoses like COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, interstitial lung disease (ILD), and lung nodules. You will work closely with 1-3 providers daily, and the patient load is generally 10-15 patients per provider per day.

Responsibilities:

• Room patients and assist providers with patient care.
• Perform oxygen titrations as needed.
• Handle administrative tasks including forms and in-basket work.
• Float to other Allina Health clinics within a 20-mile radius, if required.

Requirements:
Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year as a Medical Assistant.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS).

Preferred Experience:

• Acute Care, Outpatient, or Ambulatory Clinic settings.
