We're are partnering with a cutting-edge Direct-to-Consumer startup in the athleisure industry to find an exceptional Creative Director. This position is perfect for a dynamic storyteller who has a proven track record of scaling D2C brands from seven to eight figures in revenue. We're seeking a proactive and imaginative individual ready to make a substantial impact on a rapidly expanding business. Backed by some of the most prominent VC's in LA, plus investment from other notable public figures, the company has been growing significantly and aiming to reach 9 figure revenues over the next 5 years.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Own the brand voice, and create and execute the content strategy across all touch points including website, landing pages, emails, ads, and blog.
- Drive creative campaigns that fuel digital marketing efforts and accelerate brand growth.
- Lead the ideation and execution of brand-driven campaigns that support customer acquisition and retention.
- Manage copy and content for landing pages, blogs, emails, and other channels, while leveraging data-driven insights to continuously refine and optimize content performance.
- Develop and execute a cohesive content strategy that resonates with target audiences across all platforms
- Lead the creative process for brand-driven and performance-focused campaigns to boost awareness and engagement
- Craft compelling narratives that communicate the brand's mission and product benefits
- Develop engaging content for various channels, including social media, blog articles, emails, and video scripts
- Monitor content performance metrics and implement A/B testing to refine strategies
Skills / Experience Needed:
- 5+ years of experience in creative marketing, specifically with DTC startup brands
- Must have experience leading content strategies for DTC startup brands
- Exceptional storytelling and copywriting skills
- Experience owning the brand voice for startup DTC brands
- Proven track record in crafting engaging, emotional narratives that resonate with target audiences.
- Previous experience driving campaign ideation and execution; manage the entire campaign lifecycle from concept to performance analysis, driving growth opportunities
- Proficiency in video and social storytelling formats; deep understanding of social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and their roles in digital marketing and brand growth.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in A/B testing and analytics
- Passion for health and wellness; eager to dive deep into health science and bring this knowledge to life through compelling content
- Previous startup and small company experience is a must
- Can work onsite in the Santa Monica office a few days per week
- Creative thinker and problem solver, with proven ability to work cross-functionally
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
