We're looking for a Senior Engineer , working in Pharmaceuticals and Medical Products industry in 2525 Dupont Drive, Irvine, California, 92612, United States .
Job description:

  • Contributes to the completion of major programs and projects and guides the successful completion of minor programs and may function in a project leadership role.
  • Provides technical assessments for business development decisions as needed.
  • Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult and complex problems.
  • Acts as Project Leader for multidisciplinary teams by conducting team meetings, and creating meeting agendas and minutes, and providing general and technical guidance to the team, as needed.
  • Collects, organizes and analyzes technical information to support the development and design of products.
  • Performs technical and statistical analyses in the form of written reports.
  • Identifies technical opportunities and provides analysis to demonstrate concept while meeting key specifications.
  • Manages complex projects with a limited number of interfaces.
  • Creates timelines, budgets, goals and monitors progress to ensure that company goals are met.
  • Provides support and resources to other departments as necessary to support production or product development.

Experience Required for Your Success
Education and Experience:
  • BS degree in Engineering or other related discipline with 7+ years of experience, OR
  • MS degree with 5+ years of experience
  • Advanced degree desired
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks to create and document new products
  • Expertise in medical device development
  • Experience in the design and implementation of production fixturing equipment
  • Experience prototyping and working in a general laboratory setting related to medical device development
  • Complete understanding and application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field
  • Some knowledge of other related disciplines
  • Demonstrated knowledge of research and development aspects from product concept to product launch, including design and process development, vendor communication, protocol creation, design, testing and documentation
  • Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced math and statistical theory (to include t-tests, f-tests, tolerance limits, etc.)
  • Knowledge of GMPs, ISO standards, and Design Controls for each project and ability to aid in generating Design Control documentation, as needed
  • Ability to effectively interact with CMOs to transfer designs into production
  • Ability to travel at least 25% of time
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience in dermatology related treatments
  • Experience with LabView
