The Cartoon Network Hotel is an attraction in Lancaster, PA. We specialize in offering families the ability to have a toon-tastic vacation. We are seeking an experienced cook to create and serve fun and unique menu items in the Cartoon Kitchen.
We are currently looking for a:
Cartoon Network Hotel Dinner Cook
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Inspect and clean all food preparation areas
- Be sure to sweep and mop floors, so food residue does not accumulate
- Ensure food is being stored at proper temperature and in proper storage locations
- Season and cook each item according to the recipe and menu
- Plate the food appropriately
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to the menu for item consistency
- Label, and keep track of stored food to ensure food safety
- Rotate food items out of storage by using the newly prepped items last
- Assist with kitchen inventory and replenishing food items that were used
- Basic food preparation such as, washing, peeling, slicing, fruits and vegetables
- Communicate with the kitchen staff to ensure a high level of safety and accuracy
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- All other assigned duties
- Assisting with breakfast as needed
