Job Requirements / Description
The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Generating adjustment corrections accurately;
  • Generating refunds to patients, insurance companies, etc.;
  • Working the Transfer Credit Balance Report daily;
  • Recording misapplied payments;
  • Following the department's policy for returning payments to senders as needed;
  • Using and maintaining office equipment as trained.
Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Employee must be 18 years or older;
  • Minimum typing experience;
  • High school graduate or equivalent;
  • Ability to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask;
  • Good analytical skills.
