About The Role
Reporting to our Sr. Director, Sales Commissions the Senior Manager Sales Commission Governance & Design will join a fast-paced growing team working with our sales leaders on interesting compensation-related projects. You must have a can-do attitude, enjoy rolling up your sleeves and being a part of an innovative culture where you can build and provide real time impact on a global scale.
Governance
What You'll Do:
- Manage the Sales Commission Governance and Sales Commission Design Guidelines related for all existing and new sales compensation programs.
- Oversee the Regional Sales Incentive Committee providing insight and feedback related to plan performance and seek final resolution related to open disputes.
- Define and manage strategies for assessing programs for potential risk, advising on how to apply guidelines and compliance strategies. Identify control measures and governance needs, and guide team members to design and adhere to governance and compliance processes.
- Ensure consistency between Xactly and Plan Designs, Governance, Design Guidelines, Incentive Committee decisions, Terms & Conditions, Commission Policies and Rules of Engagement.
- Ensure all Business Requirement Documents are aligned to the Sales Incentive Plan documents and decisions taken by the Regional Incentive Committee.
- Leverages an understanding of compensation design principles, levers, and mechanics to design and/or apply incentive compensation plans. Leads end-to-end functional thinking and discussions to drive high ROI plans.
- Oversees efforts to interpret new and emerging business needs, compliance requirements, governance policies, and legislation, and synthesizes findings to guide sales compensation programs.
- Strong partnership and collaboration with Plan Administration Manager to ensure proper implementation of design changes in Xactly and any other systems capabilities modifications that might be considered during the incentive design phase.
- Gather constructive internal feedback, conduct analyses, and provide recommendations to create premier compensation plans that achieve desired outcomes.
- Acts as a trusted advisor across the field. Advises commercial leaders on how to enact successful compensation plans. Synthesizes insights and outcomes to share broadly across leadership teams as the voice of the field, challenging leaders as needed. Identifies and advises on opportunities, or missed opportunities, for use of compensation as a lever to drive business outcomes.
- Create and facilitate the enablement strategy to communicate the compensation program each year.
- Acts as a compensation resource to creatively reinforce strategy through training materials, reports and calculator models to explain and motivate plan participants behavior.
- 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally in Sales Compensation/Operations, Consulting, Strategic Planning, Finance, or related fields.
- BS in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Statistics, Math, Finance, Engineering, Sciences), MBA a plus.
- Project management skills with strong stakeholder management skills and ability to partner across functional areas (e.g., Sales, Finance, Operations, and HR).
- Strong presentation skills, especially related to building compelling presentations and presenting recommendations and decisions to executive leadership.
- Must be self-motivated, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, possess initiative, problem definition and resolution skills, and strong analytical skills.
- Exceptional problem solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems and develop solutions.
- Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills, with a focus on attention to detail and delivering of high-quality results.
- High energy and contagious enthusiasm. Willing to tackle the tough projects and challenges to grow the business. Governs themselves with unquestionable ethics.
- Ability to multi-task across a broad range of responsibilities and work in a dynamic environment and strong verbal & written communication skills, with ability to effectively document processes.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $115,000 - $190,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
